Seal is returning to his club roots with a new Claptone collaboration.
The singer shot to fame in the early ‘90s after teaming up with Adamski on the UK No. 1 hit Killer, and he’s now partnered with the international masked DJ for a fresh track.
Just a Ghost features on the star’s third album ‘Closer’, due November 12, which also features an unlikely guest spot from Barry Manilow on Nobody.
The Could It be Magic singer said he signed up to appear on the LP because he was “looking for a Dusty Springfield/Pet Shop Boys moment”
Of his project Claptone says, “I am a perfectionist full stop. I wrote those songs and I love those songs. And I am very happy with the outcome.
“Here is so much substance. I love to work with unique voices, unique characters. This pushes me to deliver the best in production as well.”
‘Closer’ is available to pre-order on CD and Vinyl now.
