Madonna will feature in two episodes of the upcoming season of ‘The Studio’ in an arc about her cancelled biopic.
The show – starring Seth Rogen as the head of a struggling studio attempting to balance artistic pursuits with financial concerns – will tackle the Queen of Pop’s ill-fated film, which was set to see the superstar direct Julia Garner in the lead role.
Although the production collapsed, a Netflix series is now in development.
But in the Apple TV+ comedy, it is imagined that the film was made and Rogen and his crew take the project to the Venice film festival in an effort to gain Oscars recognition (via NME).
Garner will appear as the star of the fictional movie, having been pictured alongside the ‘Ray Of Light’ singer – who is gearing up to release her 15th studio album – on set.
Madonna hinted hinted towards her involvement after posting a series of images on Instagram.
