Sam Ryder could clinch his first UK No. 1 single this week with You’re Christmas To Me. 

The Eurovision star climbed to No. 2 on last week’s (December 22) countdown, behind Wham!’s Last Christmas, which spends its first week as the Christmas No. 1. 

However, the Space Man star looks set to overtake George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley with his Amazon Music Original as he climbs to the summit in the first look at this week’s chart 

Reacting to the track’s latest peak, Sam said: “Christmas No. 2, isn’t that bonkers? When we wrote this song, in the blazing month of August, we didn’t even expect it to chart. 

“But here we are, in a Mariah Carey and Wham! sandwich, and we’re the filling. I’m stoked!”
