The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will be announce during this week’s live edition of ‘American Idol’, it has been confirmed.
Host Ryan Seacrest will reveal this year’s inductees during the show on Sunday (April 27), with James Taylor, who was inducted into the prestigious institution in 2000, set to appear as a mentor during the episode.

Meanwhile, contestants on the talent contest will perform songs from previous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees during the instalment.
It comes after the winners of the fan vote were announced on Tuesday (April 22), with Phish coming out first with 330,000 votes, ahead of runners up Bad Company, with 281,000 votes, and Billy Idol, with 260,500, in second and third place, respectively.
Also in the running for induction this year as part of the 14-artist shortlist are Oasis and New Order, along with pop titans Cyndi Lauper and Mariah Carey.
The 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is expected to take place in Los Angeles in November.
