Niall Horan is the latest One Direction star set to release a new album this year, with ‘Dinner Party’ set to arrive on June 5.
The ‘Slow Hands’ hitmaker announced details of the follow-up to 2023’s ‘The Show’ – executive produced by Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, two of Horan’s longtime collaborators – on Thursday (March 19).
Described in a press release as “cinematic and organic, with songs that play like memories being gently created”, it features the LP’s lead single and the title song, which is out now.
On the tune, which is “about a really happy and big moment in my life […] an evening at a simple dinner party that changed the course of my life”, he says: “After writing the song , the words ‘dinner party‘ became the nucleus for the rest of the record.
“That once in a lifetime moment that I am grateful for and for everything that came after that night.”
Earlier this year, Horan teased fans with new music in a social media post confirming: “Album is DONE.”
So far this year, his bandmate Louis Tomlinson released his latest solo LP ‘How Did I Get Here?‘ on January 23, while Harry Styles dropped ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally‘ on March 6.
Meanwhile, ZAYN will unveil his latest offering ‘Konnakol‘ on April 17.
‘Dinner Party’ is released on June 5 and available to pre-order from Amazon, HMV, Rough Trade, Townsend and more. Listen to ‘Dinner Party’ below.
