Natalie Imbruglia looks to have new music on the way this year.
The Torn hitmaker returned to the charts in 2021 with her long-awaited sixth album ‘Firebird’, featuring the singles Build It Better, On My Way and Nothing Missing.
Having celebrated the 25th anniversary of her debut LP ‘Left of the Middle’ last year, the Aussie star has teased plans for its follow-up.
In a reflective post featuring backstage footage from her gig at London’s O2 Shephard’s Bush Empire, she penned: “Celebrating 25yrs of ‘Left of the Middle’ with you all was incredible and so much fun, and all the sweeter following a top 10 album with FIREBIRD and more than a year of performing it! I’m grateful I’m still doing what I love… and it’s all because of your support!
“So THANK YOU,” she continued, before adding: “Here’s to more new music this year and getting back on the road!”
In a review of the album, RETROPOP called ‘Firebird’ an “empowering collection of 14 tracks […] exploring her journey from chart-topper, through the dark times and back into the light.”
‘Firebird’ is available now.
