Madonna’s stem cell treatment to repair her ongoing knee injury is off to a good start.
The Vogue icon, 61, confirmed she was undergoing the treatment to fix the problem that plagued Madame X Tour earlier this week, and on Thursday she updated fans on the progress.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the God Control singer shared X-Rays of her busted knee, as well as blood being processed.
“Finally going to get my regenerative treatment for my missing cartilage,” she wrote on Tuesday. “I would be jumping up and down if i could after 8 months of being in pain! Wish me Luck!”
A week before the tour came to a halt, as the coronavirus pandemic shut down venues across the world in early March (20), the Material Girl singer told fans she had badly injured her leg after falling on stage in February.
It’s not the star’s only health crisis – she recently claimed she had battled the coronavirus towards the end of the Madame X Tour.
She was struck down with a series of health woes and injuries on her last tour and had to scrap and postpone a number of dates.
Get well soon, Madge!
