Justin Timberlake looked back on his classic album ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ as the record turned 15 years old.
The former *NSYNC star’s acclaimed third LP features the hit singles SexyBack, My Love, and What Goes Around… Comes Around.
Taking to Instagram, Justin shared a gallery of clips and snaps from the era, and penned: “15 years ago today, I released my 2nd album… FutureSex/LoveSounds.
“This album changed my life. Every album is a different chapter and special to me but, this one??? I don’t even know if I have the words.”
He continued: ”I’m often asked what my favorite song on the album is but they’re all my babies so I can’t pick. But I do know this: album STILL HITS.”
‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ was a collaboration with producer Timbaland, who first worked with Justin on his 2002 hit single Cry Me A River and went on to feature on 2013 album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ and 2018’s ‘Man of the Woods’.
Last year, Timbaland suggested there may be a “part two” in the works.
Alongside a throwback shot of himself and Justin performing together, he wrote: “FUTURE SEXY LOVESOUNDS pt [two],” alongside two emojis with zipped lips.
Further details of the mystery project remain under wraps, but Justin – who has been working on new music since 2020 with the likes of Kaytranada and Hit-Boy – said he “definitely” wants Timbaland involved.
