S Club are set to announce a brand-new project this week.
The group – starring Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara and Rachel Stevens – shared a teaser on their social media pages, with a Y2K-themed invitation to join them at 8am on Friday, October 30 for the news.
Although they didn’t share any further details, Lee revealed in an interview on the Excuse Me… Are You podcast that the ‘Don’t Stop Movin” hitmakers have “lots of stuff coming up”.
“Rather than just doing a random single and then nothing happening, (we’ve been) waiting for the right time for everything to snowball and get some momentum going,” he said.
Touching on the group’s “big announcement”, he shared: “Next year is a big year for us, actually. We’ve got lots of stuff going on.
“One thing leads into the next, into the next, into the next… So for the next two years, really, we’ve got stuff planned.”
It’s been three years since the chart-topping ‘Reach’ hitmakers last reunited to celebrate their 25th anniversary with the single ‘These Are The Days’ and ‘The Good Times Tour’, which also served as a tribute to late founding member Paul Cattermole.
Earlier this year, they supported Boyzone as part of their ‘Two for the Road’ farewell shows at London’s Emirates Stadium.
