Coldplay are returning to the live stage in summer 2025 for a run of stadium dates – with a twist.
The group will appear at Craven Park, Hull on August 18 and 19, before performing six dates at Wembley Stadium in London, marking their only UK and European shows as part of the series.
In a statement, Chris Martin and co. said 10 per cent of the proceeds from the Wembley and Hull shows would be donated to the Music Venue Trust, which supports grassroots venues and artists in the UK.
Additionally, half of the tickets for the Hull shows will go to local fans, dependent on them having an HU, YO, DN or LN postcode. The gesture marks the group’s first concert in the city.
Paul Lakin, chief executive of Hull KR, the rugby league club which owns Craven Park, said of the shows: “We are truly delighted to bring the world’s biggest band to East Hull. The stadium is no stranger to big acts but this is on another level.”
Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST on Friday, September 27 and are available here. The full list of dates is below.

On October 4, Coldplay will release their latest album ‘Moon Music‘, which serves as the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’ and features the lead single feelslikeimfallinginlove.
In line with their environmentally conscious ethos, ‘Moon Music‘ will be the first album to be released as a 140g EcoRecord LP, with each copy made from 9 recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste, resulting in an 85 per cent reduction in manufacturing process CO2 emissions/kg compared to traditional 140g vinyl.
Meanwhile, CD editions will be the world’s first to be released on EcoCD, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, sourced from post-consumer waste streams and providing a minimum 78 per cent CO2/kg emission reduction.
