Riding high on the success of ‘luck… or something‘ – her first album of new material in over a decade – Hilary Duff kicked off ‘the lucky me tour’ at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre on Sunday (June 21) in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Following a run of intimate shows, dubbed ‘Small Rooms, Big Nerves’, in London, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas – where she performed a residency at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort – the 38-year-old is set to play a global run of Live Nation-promoted dates across the US, Canada, Mexico, UK & Ireland, and Australia & New Zealand.
Opening with ‘Wake Up’, the show brings together Duff’s biggest hits – including ‘Come Clean’, ‘Why Not?’, and ‘So Yesterday’ – along with nine cuts from ‘luck… or something’, with singles ‘Mature’, ‘Roommates’, and ‘Weather For Tennis appearing alongside the live debuts of ‘Growing Up’, ‘Holiday Party’ and ‘Adult Sized Medium’.
Also included are deep cuts ‘Play With Fire’, ‘Anywhere But Here’, and the title song from her previous LP, ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out’.
“You guys have made this all possible for me. It feels like such a celebration of our past younger selves to now and who we are. This just feels so full circle and so exciting,” she told the crowd.
