Cher appears to have let slip a release date for her forthcoming project.
The singer has been hard at work on new music in recent months and, in her latest social media post, she teased it could be coming sooner rather than later.
In typical Cher style, the Believe hitmaker simply wrote, “September,” along with a thoughtful emoji.

The post got fans in a frenzy, with comments including, “MOVIE !?! ALBUM !? TOUR !?!,” and “Cher is coming !!!!”
It’s been three years since Cher released her 26th album, the ABBA covers collection ‘Dancing Queen’, off the back of her appearance in ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’.
The pop icon recently confirmed she’s teamed up with rapper Saweetie on something “big,” calling the star “a sweet girl”.
“I don’t know how she is with everybody else, but she and I had the best time together. And the thing that we did is going to be big.”
She hinted on social media she was collaborating with Saweetie, who recently hooked up with Gwen Stefani on a remix of her latest hit Slow Clap, writing: “Just Got Home From LONG ASS DAY AT WORK. It Was So Cool,Girls Are Going 2 LOSE IT!
