Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton is reportedly set to go it alone and launch a solo career.
The singer, who scored a run of chart-topping hit records in the early 2000s as one-third of the trio, is said to have been in the studio recording new music with plans to tour later in the year.
Of the latest move for the ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star, insiders tell The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Natasha’s first love will always be singing and she’s always wanted to have a crack at being a solo artist.
“Her voice is in great condition and she’s raring to get on stage again. It’s a passion project.”
She’s already been announced as a performer for Manchester Pride this summer.
Despite releasing their third and final studio album, ‘Ladies Night’ (2003), over 20 years ago, Natasha and bandmate Liz McClarnon have continued to perform as Atomic Kitten throughout the years.
In 2013, original member Kerry Katona rejoined the group for a stint on ‘The Big Reunion’, while Jenny Frost – who replaced Katona in the line-up in 2001 – took part in a brief reunion in 2021 to release the single Southgate You’re The One, reimagining the classic Whole Again for England’s Euro 2020 success.
