Shed Seven have dropped ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ as the latest single from their forthcoming self-titled album.
Due January 8 on Cooking Vinyl, the LP follows previous singles ‘Stand Together’ and ‘The Centre of My Everything’ and serves as the follow-up to their chart-topping 2024 albums ‘A Matter of Time’ and ‘Liquid Gold’.
Arriving amid a sold-out run of dates celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s 1996 album ‘A Maximum High’, frontman Rick Witter says of the track: Eyes on the prize, watch silver turn to gold.
“Winning in life, a time to be positive and enjoy the things happening around you. Forget the negativity and Let The Good Times Roll.”

Writing about the album in a post on social media, the band said they’re “incredibly proud” of the LP, ading: “It’s without doubt our most ambitious record to date and the start of a brand-new chapter for the band… so if there was ever a time to make a self-titled album, this was it!
“Off the back of an amazing few years, we went into making this album with renewed confidence and a real belief in what we wanted to achieve. We challenged ourselves creatively and musically more than ever before, while making sure it still sounded unmistakably like Shed Seven.”
In a separate statement, Witter added: “We are excited to announce the imminent arrival of our seventh studio album which is eponymously titled Shed Seven to honour the fact. We have taken great care in making this album what we believe to be our best yet, and we hope these songs are taken to people’s hearts.”
‘Shed Seven’ is out January 8 and available to pre-order from Amazon, HMV, Rough Trade, Townsend and more, with exclusive signed editions and bundles available on Shed Seven’s Online Store.
