The eighties superstar will take the stage at the iconic venue for a one-off show on December 15.
“We are thrilled to confirm that the one and only Kim Wilde, pop icon and one of the most successful British female acts of the past 40 years, is coming to The RVT,” said organisers on social media.

The show is expected to feature classics from across Kim’s career – which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year – along with cuts from her ‘Wilde Winter Songbook’ (2013) holiday album.
Following the release of her recent retrospective, ‘Pop Don’t Stop – Greatest Hits’, Kim recently marked four decades in the charts with her ‘Greatest Hits’ tour.
“Time has served us old ‘80s stars well,” she told Retro Pop. “It’s proved to everyone the enduring commitment we gave to pop music back then. We weren’t just playing around with it, it came from deep inside. That energy is endless. That energy is not going anywhere.
“It’s powerful, which is why I am left a quivering wreck when I hear that song in the new John Lewis advert [Lola Young’s cover of Phil Oakey’s Together in Electric Dreams] as I tuck into my fish finger sandwich with tomato sauce.
“It’s lovely to hear a song that was a hit when I was around doing so well now. These songs last forever.”
