Kate Bush, Gary Numan albums among HMV’s 100th anniversary limited vinyl reissues

Kate Bush’s ‘Hounds of Love’ and Gary Numan’s ‘Exile’ are among the 37 limited edition vinyl albums set to be released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of HMV. 

Available in store on July 24, the LPs will be issued as part of centenary vinyl ‘Exclusives Day’ for one day only.

In addition to in-store stopping, leftover stock will be made available online from 4 pm BST. 

The complete list was announced on July 1, featuring records from Alanis Morissette, Dolly Parton, The Prodigy, Simply Red and more. 

“As part of our birthday celebrations we’re pleased to announce the new 1921 Centenary Edition range, for which we have carefully curated a selection of the finest albums and soundtracks from the last 100 years and had them specially pressed onto some beautiful coloured vinyl,” said the company in a statement. 

“Both new vinyl collectors and long-time vinyl fans will be delighted by the exclusives we’ve managed to secure for later in the year as part of our exciting 100th birthday celebrations,” added Phil Halliday, Managing Director at hmv and Fopp.
