Steps star Claire Richards is back at it on her own – this time with a cover of Laura Branigan’s Gloria.
The One For Sorrow hitmaker shared the latest clip on Instagram, following her brilliant version of Zedd’s Clarity, and called Gloria “one of my all-time favourite songs”.
“We prepared this version for my set at British Summertime in Hyde Park last summer,” she explained. “Let’s face it, most of my songs are on the ballad side, so we added this to the set to get the crowd going.
“It seemed to go down pretty well so hope you all enjoy it!”
Claire has been sharing covers online during the lockdown, and kicked off her Claireaoke series by recreating her Steps audition.
The 7 Billion singer’s bandmate Faye Tozer recently revealed Steps have recorded new music and will be making “lots of announcements” once lockdown is over.
