Tia Kofi has shared a moody, eighties-inspired cover of Lena’s Eurovision-winning track Satellite.

The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ star’s latest single reinterprets Germany’s 2010 track as the biggest show in music takes over Liverpool this month.

“This bop is out now! Just in time for #Eurovision,” penned Tia. “Honestly so happy to share Satellite with you and super proud of this song.”

Listen to Satellite below.

Earlier this year, Tia teamed up with legendary songwriting duo Topham and Twigg – who scored huge success with Steps in the late-nineties and early-noughties – on her sizzling electro pop single Curious.

Following on from last year’s ‘Part 2: The Antidote’ EP, it offered another slice of pure pop heaven and would make the perfect “Drag Race’ lip sync track – something Tia’s all for.

“I guess it would be difficult because we’re all Mama Ru’s children and she doesn’t have favourites,” she told RETROPOP, before quickly adding: “But if they did, I would absolutely be here for a lip sync to Curious or [2021 Little Boots and Tom Aspaul-penned single] Outside In!”
