The Fizz – formerly Bucks Fizz – have announced the two new members who will join Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston following the departure of founding member Mike Nolan.
Earlier this year, Mike – who, along with Cheryl, Jay and Bobby G, won the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest with Making Your Mind Up and scored a run of massive chart hits with the group – confirmed his departure after 43 years.

He’ll play one final show with the trio in November, before The Fizz returns in 2025 as a four-piece with two new male singers.
Speaking on Scott Mills’ BBC Radio 2 show on Thursday, October 3, Cheryl revealed Nikk Mager and Matthew Pateman will join her and Jay for the band’s next era, which commences next year.
Nick is no stranger to the spotlight, having been a member of Phixx back in the 2000s, with whom he still performs, while Matthew appeared in ’90s groups Let Loose and Bad Boys Inc.
The new line-up’s first shows together will be early 2025.
