Texas are back with You Can Call Me, the latest single from their hit album ‘Hi’.
The group scored their highest chart position in more than 20 years with the LP, featuring the hit singles Hi and Mr Haze.
And the latest track to be lifted is a more laid-back affair, with frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri providing lush harmonies over a stripped instrumental that builds to a feelgood chorus.
The release comes after Texas were announced as the first act to hit the stage as part of BBC Radio 2’s 2021 Live series.
Of the August 5 gig in Glasgow, Sharleen says: “I’m always excited to play in Glasgow, our home town! And I’m thrilled to be performing for the first time at St. Luke’s for Radio 2 Live.”
