Sugababes are returning to the stage as Mighty Hoopla’s first 2022 headliner.
The trio, who recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘One Touch’, will hit the stage on June 4, 2022 for the set.
“Mighty Hoopla proudly presents the return of @Sugababes,” tweeted organisers in an announcement.
“Don’t miss your original babes, the incredible @Mutyabuena21, @keisha_buchanan and @siobhandonaghy joining us on Saturday 4th June for their London festival exclusive.”
Sugababes added: “We are so excited to headline Mighty Hoopla festival next summer. We can’t wait to see you all there!”
Mighty Hoopla will run for two days – on June 3 and 4 – in 2022, with more acts to be added to the line-up in due course.
The reunited group, featuring the original line-up of Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy, recently teased new music is on the way.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2’s Rylan on Saturday show, Keisha insisted she had been “sworn to secrecy” but hinted: “We’ve been buzzing ever since we got the album out […] and hopefully there’ll be some exciting news to share soon.”
While she remained tight-lipped, the Overload star told Rylan: “When we come off the air, we’ll give you all the bits you need to know…”
The 20th anniversary expanded edition is available on 2CD, limited Tri-Colour Vinyl and Gold Vinyl.
