Suede have released 15 Again as the latest single from their forthcoming album ‘Autofiction‘.
Described as “a song about falling in love with life for the first time,” the track follows on from She Still Leads Me On – the first release from their ninth studio album.
According to a press statement, the group – starring Brett Anderson, Mat Osman, Simon Gilbert, Richard Oakes and Neil Codling – went “back to basics” for their latest long-player.
Speaking about the project, Brett says: “‘Autofiction’ is our punk record. No whistles and bells. Just the five of us in a room with all the glitches and fuck-ups revealed; the band themselves exposed in all their primal mess…
“‘Autofiction‘ has a natural freshness, it’s where we want to be.”
Mat Osman adds: “When we were rehearsing and writing this record it was this sheer, physical rush. That thing where you’re hanging on for dear life.”
‘Autofiction’ is out September 16 and available to pre-order now.
Following the release of the album, the group will hit the road in the autumn with a series of shows across the UK and Europe – including two stops London’s Electric Ballroom.
