Steps star Lee Latchford-Evans got candid on his “least favourite” of the band’s music videos during an Instagram Q&A.
The singer, who recently returned to the charts with the group’s sixth album, What The Future Holds, opened up his DMs for questions, which ranged from career probing to the obligatory “Will you post more topless pics?”
One fan asked the star, “Least fav Steps song and why?” and, although Lee didn’t reveal the song he disliked the most, he opted to name his least-favourite video – Better Best Forgotten.
He explained: “OK, I wouldn’t say it’s my least favourite song but I really don’t like the video… Sorry guys!”
The music video for the track, lifted from their debut LP, Step One, sees Lee, Faye Tozer, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian ‘H’ Watkins and Claire Richards performing choreography in all-blue outfits.
Along with its distinct underwater theme, Lee and H play with water pistols and interfere with the shoot as the girls attempt to perform their verses.
The shoot, directed by David Amphlett, became notorious after a wall of glass bricks fell down and narrowly missed Faye.
He tells fan page Generation Steps: “The glass wall actually fell down on Faye.
“It could have been serious, but I think a couple of people caught it and it broke the fall. It was a whole wall made of glass bricks and I think she got away lightly.”
Steps’ most recent album, What The Future Holds, was preceded by the Sia-penned title track and massive second single, Something In Your Eyes.
