Steps have shared an HD version of the music video for their 2001 single Chain Reaction.
The group’s cover of the Diana Ross classic peaked at No. 2 on the UK charts when it was released as a single from their compilation album ‘Gold – The Greatest Hits’.
Coinciding with Steps’ 25th anniversary celebrations, the band has shared a newly-upgraded version of the clip online, alongside a behind the scenes feature documenting the making of the video.
While plans for the 25th anniversary are being kept under wraps, a string of live summer dates have been announced, including a headline spot at Mighty Hoopla.
Last year, Steps returned to the charts with ‘What The Future Holds Pt. 2’, featuring the hits Heartbreak In This City (Feat. Michelle Visage), Take Me For a Ride and a cover of Five Star’s The Slightest Touch.
In the April 2022 edition of Retro Pop, Five Star’s Denise Pearson discusses the legacy of the single and has exciting news for fans of both groups to look forward to.
