Robbie Williams invited a host of guests on stage for his set at American Express presents BST Hyde Park in London this weekend.

The Rock DJ singer headlined Saturday’s (July 6) edition of the festival and after arriving on stage to his classic hit Let Me Entertain You, the star proceeded to take fans on a journey through his 30+ year career.

Revisiting the period in the 1990s when he began distancing himself from Take That and eventually launched a solo career, Robbie was joined by a 44-strong brass band of Beefeaters consisting of Coldstream and Welsh Guards for a rendition of Blur’s Parklife – which he performed with ‘EastEnders’ star Danny Dyer.

Mariah Carey launches long-awaited 16th album with new single Type Dangerous

The actor took on fellow soap star Phil Daniels’ spoken word parts on the track, having appeared as the Candy hitmaker’s bodyguard during an introduction video filmed backstage.

After showing clips of the raunchy music video for Take That’s Do What U Like and reminiscing on his first lead vocal on the group’s cover of Could It Be Magic, Robbie proceeded to revisit his infamous 1995 weekend at Glastonbury, where he partied with Oasis’ Liam and Noel Gallagher, treating the sold-out audience to the group’s hit Don’t Look Back In Anger.

He also invited support act, Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes, up to sing the band’s hit Alright.

The show marked Robbie’s first and only UK concert of 2024.
