Pet Shop Boys have delivered a black from the past with the first in a planned series of BBC archival performance re-releases.
The duo took to social media with the first 10 clips from 1985-1986, featuring iconic hits including West End Girls, Love Comes Quickly, Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots Of Money) and Suburbia.
The performances are taken from Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe’s appearances on Top of the Pops and The Old Grey Whistle Test.
“Pet Shop Boys today announce that they are releasing on YouTube a collection of their BBC TV performances recorded between 1985 and 2012,” the stars shared.
“The first volume features ten classic PSB performances on Top of the Pops and The Old Grey Whistle Test from 1985 and 1986, all of which are now available to view on YouTube at the playlist link below.”
