Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) have postponed their planned tour of North America due to “health issues around the band requiring treatment”.
The group was scheduled to begin their 2024 North American tour in September in support of their latest album ‘Bauhaus Staircase‘, but announced the dates have been pushed to next year in a statement shared on social media.
“We are extremely sorry to all those who have made travel plans already,” they said. “It is the first time (outside the pandemic) that we have postponed a tour in our 45 year career, and we would not do so without exhausting all alternative options first.”
Tickets will remain valid for the new dates. The show in St Petersburg has been cancelled due to venue availability. The group’s Australian and New Zealand 2025 tour will not be affected.
“We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding,” they added. “We apologise wholeheartedly for the disruption and disappointment.”
