Missing Persons have dropped the lead single from their forthcoming LP ‘Hollywood Lie’.
The guitar-driven track harks back to the ‘80s new wave group’s classic sound and taps into the themes of their first original album in a decade.
According to singer Dale Bozzio, the self-penned set is “about my deep concern for all the people suffering with depression, living a double life or just getting caught up in the glitz and glamour and empty promises of Hollywood”.
Revealing the LP is “dedicated to Len Holness, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s character Gatsby and the fashion designer Halston”, Bozzio called ‘Hollywood Lie’ “one of my greatest accomplishments”.
‘Hollywood Lie’ is out November 10 on Cleopatra Records. Listen to Ice Blue Eyes below.
