The Estate of Michael Jackson is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his classic ‘Thriller’ album with a new expanded reissue.
Due November 18 via Sony Music, the double-disc set – due to be released on vinyl and CD – features the original album plus a second collection “full of surprises for fans, including never-released tracks which were worked on by Michael for the ‘Thriller’ album,” according to an announcement.
‘Thriller’ features a number of massive pop hits, including Beat It, Billie Jean and – of course – the hit title track.

Upon its November 1982 release, the album topped the UK charts, where it remains the sixth best selling LP of all time.
Stateside, it has spent 521 weeks on the Billboard 200 – including 37 consecutive weeks at No. 1 – and is the second best-selling album in US history.
