Taking to the stage at Hoopla Malta, Melanie C got the crowd moving with the live debut of her new song, Sweat.
The Spice Girls legend co-headlined the three-day event, along with Little Mix star Leigh-Anne, delivering a set packed with classic hits from her solo catalogue and global chart-topping tenure with the group.

During the show, Melanie also looked to the future and offered fans a taste of her upcoming ninth album in the form of Sweat, which leans heavily into the dance sounds she touched upon on her 2020, self-titled record.
‘Reach 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 / Stretch 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 / I’ll make you, I’ll make you sweat’ she sings on the uptempo number.
In a recent interview, Melanie revealed that her ninth solo record is “done and ready to go”, with the LP seeing her continue to explore “electronic pop music”.
“The last few albums, I’ve been leaning more towards electronic pop music,” she explained.”And with this one, I really wanted to embrace that more, with dance music and all the DJing I’ve been doing.
“I just wanted to have fun with it and create something I love.
“The album is done, and news will be coming soon.”
