Madonna ‘Madame X’ Tour film will debut on Paramount+ later this year.
The Queen of Pop took to Instagram to confirm the news, following months of reports that the special had been acquired by Netflix for an October release.
And while the concert movie will drop in the latter portion of 2021, it will instead air on Paramount’s streaming service, which is home to a number of high-profile shows including ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’.

She confirmed: “Wild is the World… Madame X coming In October on Paramount+.”
The Ray of Light star was recently working on the final reshoots for the concert film and documentary special. She supported her 2019 album with an impressive 75-date theatre jaunt, with stops across the US, mainland Europe and the UK through 2019/2020.
After wrapping the trek last March following eight shows in Paris, the I Rise singer was forced to take some necessary downtime, which included a number of surgeries following an ongoing knee complaint.
She has since made a full recovery and returned to the New York stage in June for a one-off Pride Month performance.
Additionally, Madonna has been working on a biopic based on her life and career – however the project appeared to grind to a halt earlier this month when collaborator Diablo Cody reportedly quit after encountering difficulties working with the star.
