Madonna is urging Americans to vote by reviving her classic Rock The Vote ad on social media.
In the 60-second TV spot, the Justify My Love star wears a red bikini and is draped in an American flag while riffing an acapella rendition of her hit Vogue, swapping out the words with “get up and vote!” and spitting out bars about the importance of the First Amendment.
She is accompanied by two hot dancers in cutoff denim shorts, who perform as the hitmaker sings.
The clip was produced in an effort increase turnout among young people during the 1990 midterm elections, with music execs at Virgin Records launching Rock the Vote “to engage and build the political power of young people”.

And Madonna’s no doubt hoping it’ll have the same effect in 2020 – posting the footage online on National Voter Registration Day.
“#Vote2020 leading up to Election Day and #NationalVoterRegistrationDay,” she penned, alongside a link to the National Voter Registration Day website.
That same year, Madonna also appeared in another Rock the Vote PSA, shot entirely in black and white and featuring her explaining why it’s important to vote – before throwing on a feather boa and strutting off to cast her ballot.
Since Madonna’s ads, Rock the Vote has teamed up with stars including Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera for similar commercials.
The US election takes place on November 3rd.
