Lily Allen already has 50 songs written for her new album.
It’s been six years since the singer-songwriter released her fourth studio record, ‘No Shame’ (2018), but speaking to fans on X she revealed work is well underway on its follow-up.
When one user messaged the Not Fair singer to ask about the 40 songs she apparently recorded for the yet-to-materialise project, she responded, “It’s more like 50 now,” with a winking face emoji.
One track, Party Line, was first performed at the Way Out West Festival six years ago, but Allen had a disappointing update for those hoping it could still materialise on a future project.
On the whereabouts of the studio version, she shared: “IN A DROPBOX OR A WETRANSFER THAT I CANT REMEMBER THE USERNAME LET ALONE THE PASSWORDS FOR.”
