Leona Lewis skipped her scheduled performance in Liverpool on Monday due to sickness.
The Better in Time singer was due to support Gary Barlow on his ‘All the Hits Live’ tour at the city’s M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, but sat out the gig after falling ill.
In a statement on social media, she penned: “I’m sad to say I’m not feeling well and unable to perform in Liverpool tonight.

“I’m so sorry to be missing the show and all your faces. I was beyond excited to be here and perform for you all.”
Leona continued: “I’m really hoping to be better for the next show so I can get back on stage.
“I know you’ll have the most heavenly night with Gary – sending so much love.”
During the run, Leona has performed a selection of her biggest hits – including Bleeding Love and Run – plus festive favourites and her holiday staple One More Sleep.
She also appears alongside Gary for a performance of Take That’s cover of Barry Manilow’s classic single Could It Be Magic.
Leona recently released an updated edition of her holiday album, ‘Christmas, with Love’, which includes the original 10-track release plus new cuts Kiss Me It’s Christmas with Ne-Yo and her latest single, a cover of Bee Gees’ If I Can’t Have You.
Meanwhile, Leona has also been in the studio working on the follow-up to her 2015 album ‘I Am’.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Christmas, With Love Always‘ “a timeless holiday staple, with modern classic One More Sleep the jewel in Leona’s festive crown.”
‘Christmas, with Love Always’ is available digitally and on vinyl.
