Lady Gaga has been hard at work in the studio – and thanking fans for their birthday messages, she offered a teaser of what’s to come.
The US pop superstar has been in the studio finishing off her seventh studio album, with fans speculating on the direction the follow-up to ‘Chromatica’ (2020) may take.
While she remained tight-lipped on details, Gaga took to social media on Thursday (March 28) and took a moment to look to the year ahead.
“I feel like my heart is bursting for my own health and MUSIC,” she penned. “I am writing some of my best music.
“I’ve been writing pop songs since I was a little girl [and] I can’t believe I still get to do what I love. This year will be an important and meaningful year for us I know.
“Music changes people lives im so honored I get to be a part of that in this life. [sic],” the Born This Way singer added.
In addition to working on new music, Gaga will also star as Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix in the musical thriller ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, due in October.
