Kylie Minogue recently performed the final date of her first-ever Las Vegas residency – and according to insiders, she’s already plotting her return.
The Aussie star played 20 shows at the Voltaire nightclub at The Venetian in Sin City, having become the first act to take to the stage at the new, intimate venue.
Speaking to the audience at the final show, she said: “I am excited to be here. We were reminiscing that this is our last show, so we have all been a little emotional today. Let me just say it has exceeded all my expectations.
“This is the end… for this moment. I love you so much – I cannot wait to see you again.”
An insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Kylie has become a must-see act in Vegas.
“With a new album on its way, she will be in so much more demand. But Voltaire and the committed audiences have won her heart over, and she will be a mainstay there.”
They added that Kylie’s return is likely to be in 18 months’ time.
Kylie began the stint in November 2023, in support of her 16th studio album ‘Tension’, which looks set to receive a deluxe expanded edition this year, along with an accompanying world tour.
“Kylie has made it clear to her team this is no time to slow down,” sources previously shared. “Plans are already in motion for the next two albums, one of which will be a repackage of ‘Tension’ with additional songs.
“As for the direction of album 17 it’s early days — but a full-on dance album is in the works.
“The plan is to release the ‘Tension’ repackage towards the end of the year, with probably up to five new tracks.”
