Jack Savoretti has shared a new visual for his groovy summer single Too Much History.
The track is the latest to be lifted from the star’s latest UK No. 1 album ‘Europiana’, and features the musician’s wife and kids on backing vocals.
An accompanying video, directed by collective RUTA, tells the story of two old ladies playing the most nerve wracking game of chess of their lives, with each piece and move from the game controlling the world around them.
On the clip Jack says: “So excited about working with Santiago and Horatio (RUTA) and so grateful to them for bringing to life the aspiration, eccentricity and glamour that is Europiana.”
The album was preceded by lead single Who’s Hurting Who, a collaboration with disco icon Nile Rodgers.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Europiana’ Jack’s “most accomplished offering to date” which captures “the youth and early loves of one of Britain’s premier musicians”.
‘Europiana’ is out on CD and Vinyl. Signed CD copies are also available.
