Gary Barlow is back with a new series of his all-star online music show.
The star began the Crooner Sessions amid the pandemic last year but brought the shows to an end as he promoted his latest album, Music Played by Humans.
In a surprise announcement on Tuesday, however, the Pray singer confirmed he was readying more A-list collaborations – recorded virtually, of course – beginning on January 6th.
“With great excitement and pleasure, I’m announcing a new series of The Crooner Sessions,” wrote Gary, alongside a video clip of himself announcing, “It’s back,” from various locations around his home.

The Incredible singer has yet to reveal the famous faces who will join him for the new instalments. Previous guest stars have included Gary’s Take That bandmates Mark Owen and Howard Donald, former member Robbie Williams, Steps star Claire Richards, Boyzone’s Ronan Keating and Rick Astley.
Gary’s new shows come after he previously revealed his band will remain on hiatus until 2023, explaining: “Everyone at the end of the last tour wanted to [record a new album], but we’ve been on this treadmill of album/tour every two years for about 14 years and everyone really wanted a little chunk of time away.
“But maybe in 2023, because we have this movie that’s being shot next year called The Greatest Days and I’m hoping when it’s released we can kind of tour off the back of it.”
Gary’s chart-topping solo LP, Music Played by Humans, is out now. Catch the star’s live solo show across the UK in November 2021 – tickets are on sale now.
