Elton John has been added to the hosting line-up for YouTube’s virtual Pride celebration on June 25.
The music legend and his husband David Furnish join an all-star cohort of presenters, including singer Demi Lovato, comedian Mawaan Rizwan and Elton’s It’s a Sin collaborator Olly Alexander, who will also front the show.
The virtual events are set to feature celebrity guests offering up everything from musical performances, challenges and much more.
And fans at home can also participate by submitting videos of themselves asking questions to each of the special guest hosts, while also sharing their Pride stories.
“I’m very excited to be co-hosting my own variety show with some super talented LGBTQ+ cuties and I get to co-host with the cute and funny Mawaan,” said Olly.
“We’ll be chatting to some gorgey people from the community, there will be live music surprises and, yes, I will be performing an exclusive song.”
Throughout the event, viewers will be encouraged to donate to organisations, including the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Trevor Project.
Elton and Olly previously shared the stage at the BRIT Awards in May, where they debuted their stunning rendition of Pet Shop Boys’ hit It’s a Sin, which subsequently received a charity release.
