Elton John has shared an early teaser of his forthcoming Britney Spears collaboration Hold Me Closer. 

The Rocket Man star has teamed up with the pop star on her musical comeback, reworking his classic hit Tiny Dancer over a contemporary dance floor beat. 

Taking to social media, Elton shared a snippet of the track as played by a DJ with the caption: “Sneak peak of Hold Me Closer – out this Friday.”

Although full details of the collaboration remains unknown, Britney’s friend Paris Hilton recently teased the “iconic” release.

“I just heard it a few days ago in Ibiza and it is… it’s insane,” she said. 

Britney’s return to the studio comes after the pop star shared an Instagram video of herself singing a new version of her debut single …Baby One More Time.

“I haven’t shared my voice in an extremely long time… maybe too long,” she captioned the footage.
