As they prepare to release their new live film ‘Depeche Mode: M’, Depeche Mode have shared new music.
The duo’s latest track, In The End, originated suring sessions for the band’s latest album, 2023’s ‘Memento Mori’, and appears on the physical release of the feature, which follows on from Anton Corbijn’s 2019 live film ‘Spirits In The Forest’.
It follows Dave Gahan and Martin Gore on their journey “into the heart of Mexican culture’s relationship with death, framed by the iconic live performances”.
Largely tackling the subject of death, it features the lyrics: ‘You know we’re going nowhere / We’re all nothing in the end / We’re weightless, floating endlessly / We’ll be dust again in the end.’
