Damon Albarn has released an expanded edition of his latest solo album ‘The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows’.

The Blur and Gorillaz frontman has unveiled a four-disc digital deluxe edition of the record, almost a year to the day since it was first announced. 

Included is the original album; a full-length, one-off piano and strings performance captured live at Union Chapel, London in December 2021, including a number of Blur and Gorillaz classics; album instrumentals; plus three bonus tracks previously only made available via limited edition physical formats of the album.

In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows’ “an undeniably beautiful album that transcends trends and instantly feels timeless”.
