The Fizz star Cheryl Baker is returning to the online stage for a one-off festive show.

Christmas with The Stroudies will see the singer reunite with daughters, Natalie and Kyla, and husband, Steve Stroud, for the concert, which will feature the singer’s “favourite Christmas classics and originals”.

Cheryl Baker: ‘Making Your Mind Up is not my cup of tea at all’

“This heartfelt special will have you feeling festive in no time,” reads a Facebook announcement. “You will laugh, cry and feel a huge amount of Christmassy warmth.

“Let the family lead you through their favourite Christmas classics and originals! If you are wanting some Christmas joy, family fun and magical music – this is the virtual event for you. The Stroudies are sure to lift your spirits and leave you wanting more. Plus, their outtakes are Gogglebox worthy!

“At a time where all of their livelihoods have been hit hard by COVID-19, The Von-Stroud family singers come together to celebrate the one thing they have always shared a love of… music and CHRISTMAS!”

Cheryl Baker: Christmas with The Stroudies will stream on December 20th at 11 am and 7 pm GMT – get your tickets here.

It’s not the family’s first live stream show – they previously performed as part of a weekend-long event which also aired The Fizz’s show from the EM Forster Theatre in Tonbridge, Kent in October.

The gig features all the hits, including My Camera Never Lies, Making Your Mind Up and The Land of Make Believe, recent cuts Amen, Dancing In the Rain and The World We Left Behind, the live debut of Storm from their 2020 album Smoke & Mirrors, plus the group’s fan-favourite ’80s medley.

Relive the gig as part of the group’s 2020 Fizzion CD and DVD release, available exclusively via The Fizz’s online store.

It comes as the group, who shot to fame in 1981 when they won the Eurovision Song Contest with the classic Making Your Mind Up, prepare to celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2021.
