Cascada will release ‘Studio 24’ – their first new album in 13 years – on October 11.
The fifth LP from the dance act, led by vocalist Natalie Horler, is the result of a collaboration with German producer Christian Geller and brings “a fresh perspective to the iconic sounds that made the legendary Studio 54 club in New York world-famous”.
Horler says of the project: “What I’ve always loved about the Studio 54 era is its legendary aura and the outcry for freedom and self-expression.
“Back then, you could walk into the club naked or ride in on a white horse. Nobody batted an eyelid. I just love that kind of thing.”
Alongside the album announcement, Cascada have released a new version of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, which fuses the 1967 original with the Everytime We Touch hitmakers’ classic sound.
