Bross star Matt Goss has vowed to run for U.K. Prime Minister when he turns 60.
The 51-year-old and his twin brother and bandmate Luke have been enjoying a career renaissance following their hit 2018 documentary, Bros: After the Screaming Stops, but the frontman teased he might ditch his pop star status for a career in politics.
“I’m going to run for Prime Minister when I turn 60,” he told the Daily Mirror. “I am – I really am.”
But while Matt raised eyebrows with his obsession over a purported ban on playing conkers in the documentary, he insisted that when he takes office it won’t be his top priority.
“I promise conkers won’t be the first on my list,” he joked.
The group recently peaked at No. 8 on the UK physical charts with compilation album Bros: Gold, which was released in March.
