Britney Spears appears to be working on new music with Stargate and Caleb Stone.
It’s been seven years since the pop icon released her ninth and most recent album, ‘Glory’ in 2016, before taking a break from the industry amid her conservatorship battle.
Now free from the restraints of the legal arrangement, she’s since teamed up with Elton John on the single Hold Me Closer and looks to have more music coming.
Although Britney has yet to comment, producer Stone wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post: “Spent that last 9 months in the Siberian alps making beats for the new Britney Spears album with bros @stargate.”
The Norwegian duo – starring Mikkel S. Eriksen and Tor E. Hermansen – are responsible for monster hits including S Club 7’s S Club Party, Blue’s All Rise, Rihanna’s Don’t Stop The Music, Beyoncé’s Irreplaceable and Katy Perry’s Firework.
It was recently revealed Britney is back in contact with Benny Blanco – the producer behind her hit 2008 single Circus – with the duo discussing working together again.
“I actually recently just reached out to try to start working on some stuff. Like a month ago,” he revealed last September. “I hope [to work with Britney] soon.
“We were talking about trying to do something. I love her new things she put out. She’s incredible. I hope she is doing it.”
