Barbara Dickson is headed out on an extensive tour of the UK in early 2022.
The singer, best known for hits including Answer Me, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, The Caravan Song and I Know Him So Well, will perform classic tracks and new tunes on the dates, with her live band.
The ‘Time Is Going Faster’ tour comes following the release of the star’s latest solo album of the same name, consisting of 10 new tracks, including three original songs written by Barbara herself.
Also included is a version of Tell Me It’s Not True from Willy Russell’s ‘Blood Brothers’.
In addition to her career in music, Barbara also boasts an Olivier Award winning acting career, and was awarded an OBE from Her Majesty The Queen in 2002 for Services to Music and Drama.
As an actress, she has appeared in the award winning theatre productions, ‘John, Paul, George, Ringo and Bert’, ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘Spend, Spend, Spend’. She was the original Mrs Johnstone and Willy Russell’s muse.
