Kew the Music has once again been pushed back to Summer 2022 amid ongoing concerns surrounding the pandemic.

The festival, which had been scheduled to take place in July, was axed last year, with the majority of acts signing on for the planned 2021 edition.

However, amid uncertainties surrounding the date outdoor events will be able to resume in the UK as the pandemic continues, Kew the Music 2021 has been moved to July, 2022 – with all of this year’s acts expected to perform.

“Due to uncertainty surrounding the dates for the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to prepare for shows to take place in July,” reads an announcement from organisers.

“Whilst we are all saddened to be bringing you the announcement that the shows will no longer take place in 2021, we have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring you some good news and we are delighted to confirm Kew The Music will be returning in 2022 with all of this year’s headliners joining us.”
