Avril Lavigne has released a ‘20th Anniversary Edition’ deluxe repack of her debut album ‘Let Go’.
Originally released in June 2022, the LP took Avril to the top of the UK charts – making her the youngest female solo artist to have a No. 1 album at the time.
It features the Top 10 hit singles Complicated, Sk8er Boi and I’m With You, and as the album celebrates its latest milestone, the pop-punk star has debuted a new edition of the LP.
Alongside the original tracklist, the set features B-sides from the era, including Why, I Don’t Give and Get Over It, alongside Falling Down from the ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ soundtrack.
The reissue also includes a new recording of Breakaway, which was written by Avril for her debut but passed on to Kelly Clarkson, who released it as a single in 2004.
‘Let Go (20th Anniversary Edition) is out now on digital platforms.
Avril recently returned to the charts with her seventh studio album ‘Love Sux’, featuring the singles Bite Me and Love It When You Hate Me.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Love Sux’ a “pop-punk masterpiece” and praised “the level of life and energy in every recording – something that’s not been so well captured since Avril’s 2007 LP ‘The Best Damn Thing’.”
‘Love Sux’ is available now.
