Weeks after releasing ‘Swim‘ – her first album in 20 years – Alexis Strum is back with more new music in the form of festive single I Won’t Be Lonely (This Christmas).
The singer-songwriter – who has penned tracks for pop superstars like Kylie Minogue (who, incidentally, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her own classic holiday collection this year) – first teased the tune in a series of Instagram posts, promising “GlockPop Christmas, babes!’.
“Got sad, wrote a Christmas song and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever done,” she shared. “I hope you love it too cos it’s out NOW and it isn’t Mariah or Slade! Hehe. Enjoy!”
I Won’t Be Lonely (This Christmas) is written and produced by Alexis in collaboration with David Pickering, who worked on her latest LP alongside Grammy winner Jim Lowe and Shadowhands.
